After over a decade, buried underground and forgotten, Cleveland thrashers Violent Night are back with their first and final offering.

Being unsatisfied with never having released anything, band mates Wayne Holocaust and Vic Stown decided to compile and retool their favorite old tracks, as well as write a few new ones.

What you get is ten tracks of loose, heavy, raw thrash delivered with honesty and passion.

Violent Night, precursor to New Wave of Thrash Metal front runners, Vindicator, formed in 2003 and operated until 2005.

The band had a handful of self released demos and EPs, all of which were extremely limited in quantity.

Mighty and really glorious speed metal, almost with hints of thrash, with an incredible front-lady with demon voice, so powerful, so godly :) It is truly a great album sounding like old-school production from the 80's, raw, unfiltered, full blast in your face, and with such a galloping speedy pace that it's hard to fully grasp, leaving you to want more at the end, so in the days of digital era it's easy, just hit play again, and again, and again !!! sachavonkarl74

Quite possibly the best thrash metal album since the early 90s. Sounds like it could be a lost classic from 87-90, but it’s not a paint-by-numbers retro exercise, either. Vicious riffs and killer lead work (check out the Maiden-esque harmonies on “Spiral of Hatred” and ""Onset"). Love that snare sound, too. Juan Valdeath
